🌏 Initiatory Journey in Asia & Kian Seoul Collaboration

In September 2024, Mickaël, our head bartender, embarked on a month-long initiatory journey in Asia to explore the universe of exceptional mixology. 3 weeks in Japan and 1 week in South Korea discovering the most prestigious establishments of the Asian cocktail scene.
This journey was a quest for new flavors and innovative techniques: visiting the KI NO BI distillery in Kyoto, exploring the legendary Zest in Seoul (ranked among the world's best bars), meeting exceptional bartenders and tasting rare spirits like Hibiki Harmony. Each establishment visited enriched our vision of modern mixology.
A creative laboratory where French tradition and Asian innovation met to create unique recipes that influence Alpine Bar's menu today. This international experience enriches our Alpine mixology approach and confirms our ambition to offer exceptional cocktails in Annecy.
This journey concluded with the materialization of all these discoveries through Mickaël's guest event at Kian as well as the ultimate experience: discovering Zest, the mythical establishment setting the standard for top 500 world bars excellence.
